The Jo’burg diaries

So I’ll be leaving my home in a few days to embark on my second year of studying, and I have some pretty mixed feelings, I’ll be moving to the city of gold, Johannesburg, South Africa, don’t get me wrong, I am sups excited to be going back but now that I know what living alone is like and how much I miss my mum’s food I am a little bit weary… Plus I’ve got to do my own washing again #boo

So to sorta get me into the gear of leaving home I’ve been thinking of all the things that I love about Jo’burg and there are alot, the city is pretty amazing.
But one of the standouts for me is how photogenic it is, another one of my interests is photography, I am that person who takes pictures of everything. Everytime! My university has a bus service to our residences and along that route I see something new everyday.

So welcome to the Jo’burg Diaries
Basically I’ll see something that catches my eye and boom! I have to take a photo so I’ll upload it here

Here are some from last year, lemme know what you think in the comments below ….

This right here is hillbrow

And this is Braamfontein, ie the heart of the city in my eyes.
