Hey you amazing people! I’m officially apart of the 20’s club, it’s been a long wait but I’m finally no longer a teen, though, I’ll probably always be a kid at heart…
The best part of birthdays? Birthday shopping, the past two years I haven’t had time or just couldn’t find something I really liked… This year, however, I made time. It’s the first year I didn’t see my parents around my birthday because EXAMS. Thanks WITS But I do have the best friends I could ever imagine and they made my birthday perfect!
My birthday was on the 22nd May, so on Saturday, Kriv and I hit up Rosebank and made sure we found something for me to wear. I really wanted a little corduroy overall dress type thing, but none of them fit me right. Then we found the next best thing, a little corduroy skirt and a cute peasant style top…
My birthday started off with my nearest and dearest friends surprising me by singing at midnight, and an ordinary cake was out of the question for me, I got my favourite treat, MILK TART. I got to meet someone who shared my birthday and then I headed off to bed so I could wake up for church. That’s where these pics were snapped, well at campus on the way to church…
Afterwards we headed off to Starbucks and then to a cute Indian place where I enjoyed a home style bunny chow, if you don’t know what that is, it’s basically curry in a quarter loaf of bread, it originated in Durban (I think!) and is delicious!! It made me miss home wayy less!
Anywayy my OOTD
Blouse: Factorie
Skirt: Factorie
Boots: a birthday present from last year…
Bag: I shopped in my mum’s closet for that one

And it is almost winter and freezing, so I layered up with my favourite maroon coat from Woolworths…
Love you guys!
