Heyy beautiful bloggerverse, haha yes guys I still exist, I’m so sorry for being an inconsistent blogger, but here is my peace offering…
Earlier this year (July) I helped my dad photograph a wonderful fun wedding. Within 3 days I was back up at uni, so I handed my pics over to my dad and gave him carte blanche with them, recently I felt a bit bored and decided to edit some of my favourite shots!
The atmosphere at the bride’s home was infectious, while waiting for Merise to get back from her hair appointment, I got to watch everyone else dress up ( I also may have watched a bit of Phineas and Ferb). The bridesmaids, the flower girl, the mother-of-the-bride and well I even helped the bride a little! It was honestly so fun.
As a makeup junkie this is always so fun to watch.
And I got to capture this special moment between Merise and her mum. #aaw
And a special bonding moment between Kurt and his son. Reasons why I love photography guys…
I somehow can’t imagine my dad looking this happy to walk me down the aisle. He still gets mad when I talk to a guy #yesIam20.
The intimate ceremony was held at a church and was beautiful. The couple that prays together, stays together!
The newlyweds…. Well I guess it’s not so new anymore… whoops
This little kid kept me entertained throughout the day, he’s a little firecracker!
After the ceremony we drove to the Botanical Gardens to get some memorable photos and the gardens did not disappoint.
This is quite possibly my favourite shot of them all!
It was a hard day of walking for the bridal troop, especially the bride on her heels, but everyone was such a sport, did I mention it was about 12 degrees out???
Here’s wishing Kurt and Merise a long, happy and blessed married life!
