Hey my beauties! November is upon us and I am not prepared for the premature Christmas decorations about to pop up everywhere, but as one last ode to October, here are my beauty favourites…
After watching countless youtube beauty tutorials, Benefit Cosmetics fast became a favourite. I’ve been using Rollerlash since the brand launched in South Africa. Benefit probably is one of the most creative make up brands, their packaging and branding is always so fresh and fun!
A few weeks back Kriv and I went to the Sandton booth, saw the brow bar and decided why the heck not, all we’ve ever done with our brows were wax and thread, time to learn to fill ’em in! I literally felt like a new person and Kaylee, AKA the brow goddess was amazing! I walked out with KA-BROW! in the shade No. 6. I’ve been filling out my brows every chance I get, I tend to keep it as natural as possible, but watch out world, soon I’ll make them pop with a ka-brow! (See what I did there?)
I couldn’t leave with just one product, so I got the they’re Real! push-up liner, in the travel size of course, I’m trying to be wiser with my money.. haha…
I’ve been loving it paired with the they’re Real! mascara, also in the travel size. I actually bought this back in January, in Cape Town but I tend to forget I own it as it sometimes gets lost in my makeup basket.
Nyx soft matte lip cream (Monte Carlo)
This ladies and gentlemen is pure bliss to wear. It is by far the best matte lip product I own, yes I prefer this to my MAC stuff… It swipes on like a dream, the colour is strong, pigmented, long lasting and my lips don’t feel chapped after 10 minutes. My only not so happy moment about this, is that I wish the store had had more of the shades suitable to darker skin. But other than that, Monte Carlo has been my go-to lip product this October!
Here’s a little peek of my brow skills, I am still learning guys and I’m wearing the NYX lip cream. How luxurious does it look?!
Garnier Micellar Water
With this influx of makeup on my face, effective makeup removal is vital. I have been living off my micellar water. It’s so good at getting everything off, sometimes I just swipe it on my face for fun because it leaves my face feeling so fresh!
Soda Bloc Pink Gladiators
So this doesn’t technically fall under Beauty but I looove these shoes. I got them at Soda Bloc, for R50. Hello bargain. And yeah Soda Bloc may be for tweens, but their shoe sizes cater to everyone! These shoes are so fun, pair ’em with shorts, boyfriend jeans, a fun dress, the possibilities are infinite. Can you tell how much I love them??
Hope you guys enjoyed this little post… Don’t forget to share, like and subscribe if you did!
