Blast from the past

Hii guys! So, I’m still in a bit of shock that Pretty Little Liars is officially over. FOREVER (well, until Netflix decides to revive it in a few years, but still). I absolutely loved the finale, it had me feeling all the feels, although I’m not quite sure how I feel about the big A.D. reveal yet. How did you guys feel? I do think the finale was a love letter to the fans after seven years.

I mean, seven years ago, I was fourteen, in the 9th grade, and I made some questionable fashion choices. Well I didn’t make them so much as they were thrust upon me. I was a total nerd who’d rather spend her time at the mall in the bookstore as opposed to actually shopping. I trusted my mum with buying my clothes, which were all very fashionable, conservative, and quite churchy. Later on, I met people who inspired my fashion choices and helped me discover my own personal style.

I thought about my old church skirts that I used to wear with a little coat and figured it would be fun to spruce up the outfit. I could only find one, as I gave the rest away, I probably kept this one because it was the prettiest!

I knew this look had have sneakers, so I paired it with my current fav: my rose gold Soviets, with a netted pink polka dot pair of socks, for a bit of colour.

We shot this impeccably fast, as my family wanted to go out for supper, it was so cool how we managed to get this look against this dusky sky.

Can you tell I had so much fun swooshing this skirt about?

My little niece insisted on assisting us outside, it was pretty chilly so we had to tog her up real cozy.

This sunset is just so beautiful, I decided to edit these pictures to look as dreamy as possible.

Poloneck: Factorie

Skirt: Deep into my cupboard lol (Truworths tho)

Sneakers: Soviet

Socks: Mr Price

The second look was formed from searching for my old skirts in my mum’s wardrobe. Instead, I picked up one of her old skirts. I recently bought this gorgeous sheer embroidered poloneck and in my head the two pieces were a perfect match. This look is definitely more out there and a bit of a statement. I LOVE IT.

I’m so obsessed with this piece! I picked it up from, I think, a Chinese shop. It isn’t somewhere I would generally shop, but they had some good deals, I’ll definitely be going back to pick up some embroidered jeans!

This skirt is actually so chic, I’m probably going to take it on holiday with me. Ideally I would’ve loved to pair some black strappy heels with this outfit but, I couldn’t find the pair and my toes would’ve froze off, so heeled booties it had to be.

Sheer poloneck: CityGirl

Tank top: Cotton On

Skirt: Truworths (clearly my mum was a fan back in the day)

Boots: Cotton On

Also, how great is my highlight? Swiitchbeauty’s Glowgasm palette is like thee bomb.com.

Let me know what you think of these skirts’ spiced up looks? After these pics were taken I indulged in nachos and Mochachos chicken. NO RAGRETS, nope not a single one. Haha!
