Hey guys! So if you haven’t seen part one of my lookbook, what are you waiting for check it out here! Part one saw me toning down my pattern loving self for sleek lines and lots of white. Well the purge is over and here’s a peek to my other obsession, I’d say in Spring, but who are we kidding, I’ll wear florals anytime.
Let’s start off with a less obvious floral, slightly reminiscent of doilies my mum had in our house when I was growing up. This lace tee from H&M is one of my new favorites, they suit shorts, they suit jeans, and it would probably look so bomb worn over just a bra, but my confidence levels are not there yet.
Mint green is back, I remember it was a huge colour back when I was in matric, FOUR YEARS AGO WOT!, I even made my matric ball, (translation: senior prom), dress mint green with a touch of blue. *Insert old photos here, because thankfully I still like my ball dress*
I was so in love with my heels, my old lady self with knee issues now finds them too high to walk in, block heels all the way! Also I’m clearly blocking my face here because, I hadn’t started threading my eyebrows or doing any kind of beat to them, not because I thought it was a cute pose to show off my nails. Pffft whaaaat…
Anybody a fan of denim jackets? I am! I think they’re the Sam Smith of fashion, you cannot hate them. Spring is crazier than me when I about to get my period to be honest, and that’s saying a lot. It’s hot, it’s cold-ish, then it’s storming and straight after… hello rainbow in the sky. The solution to all this mood swingy weather? Throw a denim jacket over whatever you’re wearing, not only is it functional, have you ever looked at someone in a denim jacket and thought that they aren’t so cool?
I threw a jacket over this H&M dress (not sponsored, but hay H&M, I’m open to the idea). White dresses are always in, add a bit of paisley, some sheer pink polka dot socks and you’re ready to start spinning in parking lots hoping to not get spotted by anyone you know!
Next stop on the denim jacket train is this jumpsuit I found in Bangkok. I was obsessed with this baggy style I saw everywhere, they all had a slight variation of the typical elephant print (I bought one of them anyway), when I saw this pattern, it basically jumped of the rack and into my arms. That may be some serious hyperbole but meh, I’m extra.
Alrighty guys! Goodbye and God bless ya! For an extra blessing I think you should totally give this post a like, leave a comment and share it. And just to be sure Jesus sees, sign up to follow my blog to get notified of my next post! I’m going to be sharing some skin drama!
